With textiles becoming a key target area in the UK Government’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policies, companies will have to consider the life-cycle of the textiles they produce or use within their business.

Unfortunately, due to textile recycling processes being in their infancy in terms of technology, affordability and accessibility, it can be a daunting process for companies to effectively manage their textile disposal options.

How does it work?

Our ReFactory brand specialises in giving products as many life cycles as possible before they reach their true end-of-life. We have a team of highly qualified and experienced textiles specialists on site ready to remanufacture your textile ‘waste’ into a whole range of exciting new products.

We do this by offering a B2B collection service via our established recycling box schemes, or for larger scale requirements through our MYsafe pallet box service.

Textiles received are graded and prepared through a range of processes including wash treatments or deconstruction. From there they are handed over to our skilled creative team for remanufacturing into new and useful products.

We can also offer take-back schemes through which your textile waste can be reintroduced back into your own business in a beneficial way! We’ve already applied these schemes for customers with:

Got an idea of your own? Bring it to us, we love a new challenge, and we can consider most textiles. We believe there is always potential for extending the life of textiles – especially those classed as ‘non-recyclable’ that would normally end up in landfill or incineration.

We only take what we know we can remanufacture. If we’re unable to use your textiles for any reason, we will be completely transparent and advise you on your best options.

No unnecessary microfibres or energy consumption – we’ll only process textiles that absolutely need processing.

Carbon footprint

All recycling, processing and remanufacturing is carried out on-site at our Yorkshire ReFactories – in line with our carbon pledge, we don’t export textiles across the globe.

ReSure policy
