We run a range of equipment for depackaging across our sites, as the sheer variety of packaging requires different methods to ensure the maximum amount of recovery of all fractions. Our systems are designed to allow us to handle bulk product and highly contaminated materials with a high demand throughput, right down to small one-off items.

The depacking systems also act as the first stage of secure/confidential destruction, which is part of our BSI commitment. This ensures not only full brand protection, but maximum recovery of both packaging and product for onward recycling.
Capacity across our sites for depacking is a combined 500 tons or 1,000 pallets per day; our Maltings site has the largest bulk capacity to allow fast movement and processing of emergency work our clients may need us to do on demand.
We can also offer reporting on all items recovered and removed through our depacking services.
