Liquid wastes
Bulk tankers, Drums, IBCs and moreFull recovery and recycling for liquid wastes
We deal with a wide variety of effluents, liquid waste and wash-down waste from various industrial and commercial manufacturing processes – whatever the liquid, we can find the best disposal route.
Our Liquid Waste Treatment (LWT) facilities provide the capacity to store and pre-treat large volumes of liquids, most of which have a high degree of organic fraction – often in the suspended solids, fats, greases or sediments. Some waste streams come with an element of contamination carried over from the customer’s process such as inert materials and plastics.

Liquid waste – how it works
Our processes are built in a way that enables us to accept liquid in all forms of container, e.g., bulk tankers, drums, IBCs, cans etc. Using internal lagoons, the waste is first discharged and separated by sink-float to recover organic solids and sludges with any plastics also being removed.
The liquids are then tested and blended – if required – and used within our composting processes and deployments or sent for onward treatment
Sludges and organic solids are tested and recovered for treatment through Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) or bulked for further treatment off-site.
Edible oils, greases and fats are removed and processed to extract water and contaminants before being recovered for use in bio-fuel production.
We’ll find the ideal eco-friendly route for all your liquid wastes, providing you with peace of mind and also improving your environmental credentials.
