All food and beverage manufacture wastes are handled at our dedicated organic waste treatment facility with a comprehensive range of processing technologies including secure destruction, de-packing and shredding, in vessel composting, anaerobic digestion, liquid treatment and specialist glass jar processing. Packaging – plastics, metal, glass etc. – is recovered and processed for further recycling.

Working alongside our partners, we work hard to keep your company at the top of the waste hierarchy – evaluating your on-site streams to establish the best route before they even enter the waste system – with the potential to turn your waste stream into a rebate commodity.

We will also offer a free site audit to establish if any materials can be re-introduced to the human food chain, through our UK partners. We have redistribution routes for many of the unusable food and drink products you may otherwise ordinarily send to landfill, AD or composting, allowing your business to move up the waste hierarchy.

These redistribution channels aren’t just limited to food products, we can accept ALL categories; fresh, chill, frozen, ambient, beers, wines & spirits and non-food items including pet care, household, personal care, flowers, consumables, clothing etc.

You’re not limited to ready-packaged and retail-ready items either, we are also capable of taking bulk materials and overruns for repackaging ourselves.

Our continuing innovation finds new routes for your food waste; our animal feeds division is able to use many of your foods and drinks products that are not suitable for redistribution. Individual ingredients can also be recovered for use in the manufacture of new products e.g. grains, bread, cereals, oils etc.

As a final method of removal, we operate one the largest food waste to anaerobic digestion feedstock facilities in the UK – with an unrivalled final specification from waste-derived feedstocks – meaning your waste streams will be powering homes and businesses across many parts of the UK.
